NEUR 2698 - Research Assistantship (for pay) for first-years and sophomores (audit only)
NEUR 2699 - Undergraduate Research (for credit) for first-years and sophomores (pass/fail only)
NEUR 4698 - Research Assistantship (for pay) for juniors and seniors (audit only)
NEUR 4699 - Undergraduate Research (for credit) for juniors and seniors (letter grade only)

A final research report, graded by the research advisor, is required for NEUR 4698/4699. Please consult with your research mentor and faculty advisor for constructive criticism as you are drafting your report. Failure to submit the reports may result in a registration hold being placed on your schedule for the following term.

Note: NEUR 2698/4698 (i.e., pay or audit basis) does not count towards your degree
Note: 3 hours in the research lab per week are required for 1 credit of coursework. A maximum of 4 credits of undergraduate research on letter-grade or pass-fail basis are allowed in a given semester. The total amount of research credit that may be applied to the program of study for the B.S. degree is limited; please refer to the curriculum.
Provide a short descriptive project title (max. 120 characters)
Provide a 5-7 sentence description of the research. This should include: (a) the overall goals for the project, and (b) your aims for the semester.

When you submit this form your research advisor will be asked to confirm your participation in research next semester. Upon approval you will be granted a permit to register for the course credit.

Change of Major Request

Current GT undergraduates only

Please carefully review the B.S. in Neuroscience curriculum before completing the following form.

If you enrolled at GT in spring semester 2017 or earlier, you should be able to complete the degree in an additional three years of study (i.e., graduation in spring 2020). Most of the credits that you have earned will likely transfer into the new program of study.

Applications will be reviewed and approvals to change major will be granted by the end of the semester. Space is limited, so early application is encouraged.
