Brain reorganizes to adjust for loss of vision
GT Research News - Nov. 20  A new study from Georgia Tech shows that when patients with macular degeneration focus on using another part of their retina to compensate for their loss of central vision, their brain seems to compensate by reorganizing its neural connections. Program creates career path for future teachers
The Whistle - Nov 10  While Georgia has a shortage of K-12 math and science teachers, Georgia Tech is a top destination for students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering and math. Now Tech students interested in teaching  will be able to enhance their pedagogical skills, learn about pathways to teaching and participate in teaching internships through a new program. Yellow Jacket marching band turns 100; set to play in Macy's  Parade
GT News Room  - Nov. 23  Georgia will be well represented in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as Georgia Tech’s Yellow Jacket Marching Band takes center stage. The group is one of two college bands selected to perform during the traditional kick-off to the holiday season.
