Hotel Reservations
In 2010, we once again return to the same hotel, the Renaissance Atlanta Hotel Downtown, located at 590 West Peachtree Street just across the street from the North Avenue MARTA station. The hotel is also just two blocks from the Georgia Tech campus and in an area that serves as the boundary between downtown and midtown Atlanta. The special conference room rate is $129 per night for single, double or quad occupancy. It is important that you make your room reservation early. The number of rooms reserved for the Conference is limited. Because room reservations are limited, they must be guaranteed by a credit card or by a deposit for the first night. Renaissance Club level rooms and a variety of larger rooms and suites are available by special arrangement with the hotel. You can make reservations, using either the hotel reservation form found on the Conference web page, by calling their toll-free 800 number, [(800) 228-9898] and indicating that you will attend the Cognitive Aging Conference, or by calling the hotel directly [(404) 881-6000]. To change your reservation or to make special arrangements, call the hotel directly at (404) 881-6000 [Fax (404) 815-5010]. The deadline for Conference hotel reservations is March 19, 2010.

Abstracts
The deadline for abstract submission is December 11, 2009. Please carefully follow all instructions on the form because the abstracts of accepted papers will be reproduced and distributed to all registrants. The abstract needs to fit into a box 6 1/2 inches wide (top and bottom) and 5 inches tall (sides). Other format requirements and an example are also listed on the form. Most of the research presentations will be in the poster format. The Conference Organizing Committee will determine whether or not abstracts will be included in the program. No more than two submissions can be made by any one person as first author. A carousel slide projector, an overhead projector, and a computer projector and computer will be available for all sessions. Presenters will need to bring their powerpoint presentation on a flash drive if the coputer projector is to be used. Other audio-visual needs can be met as special requests, but the costs of special arrangements will charged to the presenter.

Reception
A special gala opening night reception (with hors d'oeuvres) is planned for Thursday night for all registrants in Renaissance Hotel. The cash-bar reception will give everyone an opportunity to informally interact on the first night of the conference. The hospitality suite will also be open each evening after dinner for social interaction.

Transportation to Hotel
From Hartsfield Intl Airport: The Atlanta Renaissance Hotel is served by taxis (currently $28.00 one way for one person; $30 for two; $35 for three; and $40 for 4 people sharing a cab) and the Atlanta Airport Shuttle ($18.00 one way) that departs the airport every few minutes. You can also ride the MARTA train to the North Avenue station for $1.75. There is a MARTA station inside the airport terminal. To use MARTA, simply go to the station located in the Baggage Claim area of the airport. All Northbound trains go from the airport to the North Avenue station. The hotel is located less than one half block south on West Peachtree Street, directly across the street from the MARTA station.

From Expressways: Going North on the I-75/I-85 connector, take the Spring Street - West Peachtree Street exit (Exit 100), take a left on West Peachtree Street at the 2nd stoplight, and the hotel is on your immediate left. Continue around the block to Spring Street to reach the parking Georgia Center Parking Deck if you want to self park.
From I-75/I85 going South, take the North Avenue exit, turn left on North Avenue, take the next right onto Spring Street, then take the next left onto Linden Way, go a short block, and the hotel is on your left at the corner of Linden and West Peachtree. (See the map on the web page.)

Atlanta Renaissance Hotel has parking at a connected garage (Georgia Center Garage) located behind the hotel on Spring Street for $14.00 per day with in and out privileges. Valet parking is $18.00 per day.
